Ice Fishing in the Lesser Slave Lake Region

One of the most traveled areas of the province in winter is the area surrounding Lesser Slave Lake, where ice fishing is the sport of choice once the cold weather arrives and the snow flies.

Come and experience the thrill of catching walleye, perch, burbot, northern pike and whitefish through a meter or more of ice. Huts are available to rent from December to March.
